In 1988 Dick Butler started Industrial Tire Sales, Inc. as a one man business specializing in forklift tires and related products.
Working from his garage, Dick had soon become so busy that he needed to relocate to larger accommodations in St. Paul. In 1989 Dick’s son, Patrick, joined the “family” business as the service department manager. Within the next year, Industrial Tire Sales, Inc. had gained two additional sales representatives and soon moved into its present Myrtle Avenue location.
Dick retired in 2004 after building Industrial Tire Sales into a well-known and well-respected industrial tire sales business, concentrating on high quality durable products that kept customers efficient, productive, and profitable. Dick’s place as the owner of the company was passed along to his son, Patrick, who has continued to build the reputation of the business as well as work to introduce new products into the marketplace.
September 2013 saw the arrival of Dick’s third son, Steven, into the business to lead the sales and marketing effort as Vice President of Sales & Marketing. Steven’s prior experience in the paper and forklift industries helps to round out the personnel in this continuously growing St. Paul company.
